The Upcoming 2023 Cadillac Models

The upcoming 2023 model year promises to be an unforgettable one with the unveiling of Cadillac’s first electric crossover and the debut of a performance variant for the marque’s flagship SUV. Other models within the Cadillac lineup also see various changes to further satisfy the ever-evolving tastes of buyers.

LYRIQ – The New Standard for Electric Luxury

The 2023 LYRIQ promises to be a Cadillac like no other, delivering a pure electric experience in a way that only the Cadillac marque can offer. That experience starts with the all-electric SUV’s bold looks. The illuminated front fascia incorporates thin LED projectors for a dramatic first impression while slim wraparound LED tail lamps to highlight both Cadillac’s heritage and future.

Inside, you’ll find an equally dramatic interior inspired by the full-size Escalade SUV. The 33-inch diagonal LED display curves toward the driver as a single, continuous screen. Free from the constraints of the internal combustion engine, the LYRIQ features incredibly spacious accommodations for five occupants, along with an assortment of convenient storage areas for concealing various valuables. With Google Built-In compatibility, you can use your favorite Google apps effortlessly to discover new places, get access to hands-free assistance, receive live traffic updates, and more.

The 2023 LYRIQ makes every mile count with its advanced electric technology. You can travel up to 312 miles on a full charge, according to the most recent EPA estimates. You can charge at home with the included dual-level charging cord or the Level 2 home charger. Available DC Fast Charging gives you up to 72 miles of range for every 10 minutes of charging time.

The Ultium battery platform lies at the heart of the 2023 LYRIQ’s all-electric capabilities. With its battery banks positioned low and flat, the LYRIQ boasts a low center of gravity and near-50/50 weight distribution. A fully independent 5-link suspension system ensures sharp, precise handling while providing exceptional ride quality. The LYRIQ even comes available with dual electric motors driving the front and rear wheels, providing drivers with the surefooted security and responsiveness of AWD.

The LYRIQ experience isn’t complete without the first true hands-free driver assistance feature, Super Cruise. This available feature aids with long-distance driving on compatible highways, reducing fatigue and enhancing driver alertness. Available Automatic Lane Change even lets Super Cruise activate the turn signal and perform a single lane change automatically, as conditions permit.

Escalade-V – Power and Luxury Personified

Ever since the introduction of the 2004 CTS-V, the V-Series has remained the standard-bearer for unbridled performance within the Cadillac brand with its models deftly blending uncompromising luxury with jaw-dropping power and handling. The upcoming 2023 Escalade-V is no different, but it will be the first-ever Cadillac SUV to don the V-Series badge and benefit from its massive slate of performance upgrades.

Those upgrades start with the Escalade-V’s sporty looks. Revamped front and rear fascias with larger intakes and dark quad exhaust offer subtle ques to the full-size SUV’s performance-oriented nature. Exclusive 22-inch dark alloy wheels and dark exterior accents further highlight the bold, menacing styling.

A hand-built 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine serves as the beating heart of the 2023 Escalade-V. Built for maximum performance, this engine puts out an incredible 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of tire-shredding torque. All of this power is channeled through a 10-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels courtesy of a full-time AWD system.

Inside, the upcoming Escalade-V remains as luxurious as ever with a bevy of premium materials and the ever-impressive curved OLED screens dominating the instrument cluster. Based on the Platinum trim level, the Escalade-V’s opulent interior features exclusive Zebra wood accents and the AKG Studio Reference audio system with 36 strategically placed speakers throughout the cabin. Super Cruise will also be available for the 2023 Escalade-V.

Like other members of the V-Series performance family, the upcoming Escalade-V is set to provide a heart-pounding driving experience. Believe it or not, there’s also an electric variant of the Escalade set to debut shortly. This all-electric version of the full-size SUV promises an astounding 900 pound-feet of torque while offering up to 400 miles of estimated range on a single charge.

Other Noteworthy Changes

The Cadillac Escalade earns plenty of noteworthy changes for 2023, including the addition of the Surround Vision Recorder system. This feature uses cameras placed around the vehicle’s exterior to capture video around the perimeter for enhanced safety and security. Other changes include three new exterior hues (Argent Silver Metallic, Dark Emerald Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat) and a new Adaptive Headlamp System available for all models except the Luxury trim level.

Other models within the Cadillac lineup, including the XT4, XT5, and CT4, all receive minor updates for 2023, including new exterior colors. The upcoming CT5 and CT5-V will also offer the Driver Assist Package as standard on the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels.
